Ms. De Mendonca is the CEO and Founder of a successfully run nonprofit organization called The Misunderstood Youth Development Center (MYDC) in New York, whose mission is to help understand, develop and stimulate the minds of our youth through community involvement and activities.
 
 
 
Julie-Ann Harris, MSW, LCSW
 Executive Board Member 
As a former Senior Staff employee for children in group homes and a current Senior Consultant for the Administration for Children's Services (ACS) in NY, Ms. Harris is a well rounded experienced professional who knows first hand the plight of children in foster care.
  
 
 
Dr. Johnola Chambers-Morales
Executive Board Member 
Dr. Chambers-Morales worked for the Administration for Children's Services for over 15 years serving in the positions as the Asst. Deputy Commissioner as well as the Director for the Office of Confidential Investigations. Dr. Chambers-Morales is now the CEO of ChaMorale, LLC where she works full-time as a Psychologist in addition to working with Early Intervention Services in New York.  
 
 
Lakeesha Kaufman, B.A., Certified HR
Executive Board Member
As a current Human Resource Executive Recruiter for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in NY, Mrs. Kaufman is well versed in the area of employment and job readiness.  The knowledge that she brings is valuable to the skills needed to advance the children in foster care.
