URS is a 501(c)3 organization and with your tax-deductible contribution, we will be able to sponsor a foster child in the following areas: 

• Crossroads Scholarship Fund- URS would like to contribute funds toward college tuition, books, laptop or other necessities needed to URS participants who have been accepted to a college. Each year, URS will select two (2) individuals who meet the requirements of this award.

• Suit Up! - We all know that the first impression is key to landing that desired job.  Therefore, we want to make sure that every foster child is dressed for success.  URS would like all our participants to own  the necessary clothing items and accessories required for interviewing.

• Housing Expenses- Finding the right apartment is hard enough, but having to deal with all the expenses that come with your first apartment can be tough.  URS would like to provide our participants, who are “aging out” of foster care, and has obtained his/her first apartment a voucher toward their first month’s rent and security deposit, furniture and/or household necessities.

• Services - To keep the URS up and running it is required that we secure funds for life skill training, educational materials and equipment, staff development and training, and empowerment programs.

URS greatly values the support of concerned citizens like you, whose contributions throughout the years will make it possible for our organization to grow, thrive, and expand its services to enhance the lives of many foster children who are aging out of care.
